The Dorothy Bradley Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden contains more than 70 species of medicinal plants whose origin is somewhat evenly distributed between Europe, Asia, and North America. Almost all species have a history of traditional medicinal use, and many species are mainstay drug-producing plants whose products are currently in use in clinical practice in the United States and elsewhere in the world.
